Q: How do these connect on airplanes to watch a movie and cancel out ambient noise. As the airplane jacks are different.
3 years agoA: Most of the airplanes have the 3.5mm female jack for audio output, so it should not be a problem. I have used it on a flight between Amsterdam and Brazil last week and it worked perfectly, the Noise Cancellation as well.

Q: Can I mute and unmute directly from the headset, or the app? I use the headset to connect to video calls on my computer, and would like to mute and unmute myself while away from my pc. Thanks
4 years agoA: It appears mute from the headset only works with cellphones while connected Bluetooth and not computers connected in any manner, which is very unfortunate. You cannot mute from the headset with Skype, Teams, Zoom etc. But you can mute using the associated app controls on the computer. Can JBL confirm?

Q: Is it possible to use an aux cable with a microphone and will the aux cable mic work with the headphones??
4 years agoA: If you have a cable with an inline mic it will work, but it appears the cable that comes with this model does not include a mic. I am using the Tour One whose cable also does not include a mic, but was able to use the cable from the live 650btnc which included a mic and does work.

Q: can you use audio optical cord
20 days agoA: Thanks for your question. Our JBL Live 660NC does not support the use of an optical audio cord. It is designed to connect via Bluetooth or through the included 3.5 mm audio cable for wired listening.

Q: Will not turn off
22 days agoA: Thank you for your feedback. To isolate the issue with your JBL Live 660NC, please try resetting it. Reset will sipe all previous settings and pairings, so it will be necessary to pair your unit with your devices again. To do this, press ad hold Volume + and Volume - for more than 5 seconds while it is powered on. The headphones will turn off, and reboot to factory defailst. You may need to unpair it on your device in order to pair it again. If you need more help, please contact us.

a year agoA: Thanks for your inquiry. To activate "Pairing-mode", simply slide the power button of our JBL Live 660NC upwards and the headphones will automatically be on Bluetooth pairing mode. To connect, tap "JBL Live 660NC" on your source device's Bluetooth settings. You may also use the 3.5mm audio cable that comes with our JBL Live 660NC.
