Had one and left it in the cart. So I bought 2 new ones for the price of one and they were not even close to the JBL. It sounds so much better and charge lasts longer than other brands.

A: Face à la Flip 4, on perd le Connect Plus (remplacé par PartyBoost), qui est bien plus répandu dans les gammes d'enceintes de JBL, on perd aussi la stéréo (plus qu'un seul haut parleur sur la Flip 5, mais, on gagne 4 watts, un peu plus de basses et un design légèrement revu qui reste agréable.

A: Yes. It will get a yellow/gray'ish tint over time. In my opinion it makes it look cheap/fake. Stick to darker colors.

Q: My brand new JBL Flip 5 connects easily to my mobile phone, but we just simply can not pair with any computers (PC, Mac), it is being recognized, it says it is being connected and then it just fails to be paired. Any ideas, please?

A: Funny that JBL Customer Service won't chime in on this question... whole reason myself and alot of my friends and teammates went with JBL over others was the ability to connect several units together via connect+ . My flip 4 got wet (not very waterproof as stated) and need to replace quickly for a race this weekend. Bestbuy no longer carrying flip4. So flip5 was looking like the option. Guess not.. soooooo disappointed/ disappointing.

A: Thanks for your question. Yes, there is no harm in leaving our JBL Flip 5 connected to electricity at all times. It has a PCM (Protection Circuit Module) and a charge management IC built in, which manages and detects charging. It will monitor and control the charging current, and once fully charged, it will cut off the current to protect the battery.
