Listen to the music...

This is a good sound bar for the cost. I have another that is in the living room, this one is employed in the Den. The sound is clear, the tones are good and it's an easy hook-up. The one thing I don't appreciate as much is the on/off lights that appear to be the same color. It's minor, and it maybe me just nick picking. I have other JBL products and have found them to be reliable hence, no worries buying more.

Q: How can I tell if I have activated the voice clarify button? Also how do you tell if you have activated the music, news, or movie button? I don't know which one I'm listening to.

A: I generally use the remote control to activate or access these features. You may need to listen closely. For certain the voice helps when watching the hockey games.

A: The JBL SB120 features Voice mode. With the voice mode, vocal clarity is enhanced to allow you to easily hear and understand speech. On the remote control, press to select the voice mode.

Q: Soundbar turns itself off when nothing is playing on TV for 5 minutes. When you start playing something the sound is routed via TV speakers, not via soundbar. Connected via HDMI ARC.TV: LG (2 year old). Any way to disable auto off?
