Great size, fun but a couple caveats

Took a while to assemble as described by other reviewers (2-3 hours). Would not recommend doing it with kids around as there are a ton of pieces not just 39. A good size once built. However, the electronic components with AAA batteries (sounds and lights of microwave and fan) did NOT work as advertised which is very disappointing for the kids. The burners worked fine. So much for "Lights and Sounds".
I could not find any contact for the supplier to acquire replacement parts. Canadian Tire customer service just told me to bring in the whole built kitchen (very heavy and doesn't fit in my car and not really reasonable to undo 3 hours of work)....but I only need two specific parts that are not working..

Purchased this for grandkids a couple of years ago. It is well made, extremely stable and the kids spent hours playing chef. Purchased again for another set of grandkids for Christmas. Looking forward to watching them explore creative cooking once it’s built.

Safety hazard!

This product is a safety hazard! I previously left a good review as we thought this kitchen was wonderful when we first assembled it. With a week, pieces started breaking. The faucet snapped off, the fridge door fell off, etc. Our final straw was last week when the pantry door fell off on our 2 year olds head. Canadian tire, this product is not good and should not be sold in your stores. I tried contacting the manufacturer many times over the last few months and no reply. So disappointed.
No, I do not recommend this product.
