Excellent but CTC ones are just as good for 1/2 the price

Purchased 2 irwin clamps from past experiences and two Canadian Tire brand ones for half the price. Although Irwin are top notch, the Canadian Tire brand ones are equally as good for half the price as the Irwin clamps

Works great, slides easily and secures boards tightly. I used it for LVT flooring to secure before cutting. Bought 2 clamps but you can probably get away with just 1

A: width is a relative term. Are you referring to the widest jaw opening? or the height of the jaws themselves? They are available in various lengths, 12" being the most popular. These clamps cannot apply the greatest pressure between the jaws but they are indespensible as one handed clamps. I have 4 and will buy more now that they're on sale. One thing to watch for is they do have a tendency to push the pieces out of alignment when clamping for glue up.
