Feels right in my hand

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this hammer for a few months now and continue to like it more and more. I feel like I have great control with the hammer because of the soft grip on the handle. It has a little nail puller on the side of the head that has come in handy more than once. Overall an awesome job producing this hammer.

Works like a dream

This 19oz hammer works well for the price. It’s light enough for the power it packs. I’ve only been using it for a few days now but I am a lot less sore than when I was using the 22oz Estwing listed at a comparable price. The magnetic nail setter is an awesome touch, although I’ve only used it once or twice. The nail puller on the side has come in handy in a pinch, and the rip claw works as well as other hammers. All around, very happy with my purchase. Irwin makes some quality stuff. As an added bonus, it’s a nice looking hammer in my humble opinion. If you’re framing, the milled face is a necessity. Not so great for finish work.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Feels comfortable in the hand using the hammer, like the magnet to hold the nail to start the nail, don't have to hold the nail with fingers to start the nail into the wood 2X4, 2X6 “Etc.”. Well designed. All steel hammer, lightweight but hits like a heavy hammer well engineered. Also like how I can pry a nail out with the side of the hammer, got leverage of the handel to get it started, then finish pulling with the claw.

A hammer for all tradesman.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hammer is great. I recently started a project installing a new heating system in a house. We have been installing retro radiant heat under the floors. This job required doing a lot of cleaning up in between the floor joist including getting rid of blocking old nails screws and hardware that needed to be pride out in this Hammer was perfect for the job. During our install of the radiant heat we needed to nail up white clips and blocking to hang the pipes and this Hammer made quick work pounding in all of our stuff. I would highly recommend this hammer to anybody working in the trades.
