Q: Can the lid be used with all cooking modes? Pressure cooking, for example? We had an incident and had to throw out the lid to our 6qt Instant pot. I'd wondered if this would be a suitable alternative.

A: No it can't be used for any pressure cooking. Only use it for saute or on warm. It's just a lid and doesn't have a lock on it

A: You would need to measure the top of the pot, this is a 9" lid.

A: It is available. Limited Canadian Tire stores carry it. So check you local store for listings. Please make sure you use a genuine Instant Pot accessory as they will fit your inner pot.
