Q: I am looking at the Badger 5 waste disposal unit and some reviews talk about a model with the power cord already attached and one that dosen't. Can you please tell me which one is which so I know what to order. I want the one that has it. Thanks. Shar

A: Hi Shari! Yes, we offer both corded and un-corded units as each person's electrical situation is different. Many retailers choose to carry the un-corded units with a separate power cord kit in order to accommodate as many people as possible. I'd suggest you check at the store directly if they have a corded unit in stock. If they only have un-corded units available, you can find a power cord kit, model #CRD-00 from most retail stores or plumbing suppliers. Thank you!

Leaking on top

I bought this model less than 2 yrs ago & it’s leaking on the top badly! Shouldn’t happen!

It’s working great; registering it online for the warranty was quite easy. Get the numbers before installing it. We were able to bring the old one to a return it centre for recycling

Bought this as a replacement for the exact same model that worked for years and years until I threw a whole chicken carcass in. It was stripped of meat and I had always had good luck with watermelon rinds, etc. Just be reasonable.
