Designed with flexibility to keep tight, otherwise unreachable spaces free from soot, debris, and dirt, this rod can navigate sharp turns without getting caught in elbows. Featuring 1/4" - 20 threads, it is compatible with either 64-2832 (3" brush) or 64-2833 (4" brush) for efficient stove cleaning. This 48-inch stove rod can also be used with other models, like 64-2800 or 64-2807.

    Better, but not good enough

    1) Couldn't make the turn in a 4 in flue, but a lot more flexible than others... almost but not quite flexible enough... 2) Doesn't fit standard brushes and the brushes that fit disintegrate when you use them.

    This product broke on the first use

    This product broke on the first use, and did not do the job as described. Most of there products are Ok but this one broke before I finished the job, and I had to take the whole chimney apart to get the broken piece out. A waste of money.

    I bought 2 rods which were not sold as shown here, probably because packaging was broken or rods were previously purchased and returned for good reason. The rods were tightly rolled up and secured with a tie-wrap. When unrolled, they were impossible to unbend. Their stiff bent shape made it impossible to clean the pellet stove's 3-inch wide chimney. I will return them as I have purchased 5 flexible metal rods of 4 feet each (sold not rolled up) at a renovation/hardware store. The metal flexible rods and a pellet stove round brush efficiently cleaned the chimney within a few minutes.
