Great mower but terrible bagger

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Most poorly engineered bagger I have ever seen.. Extremely difficult to install; so far unsucessful. May need a much bigger hammer. The shop where I bought it installed the bagger originally and it worked well. Loved the capacity and the full indicator. Took the bagger off and noted that it was difficult. Months later, I have discovered the shop did not leave me all the parts and installed it wrong in the first place. I cannot get it back on the mower and the owners manual does not match the bagger. Utube videos show either a slightly different mechanism on the (same model) mower or a slightly different mechanism on the (same model) bagger.

Works pretty well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bagger comes partially assembled, the rest is really easy to put together. Works great for picking up leaves as well, works best at full throttle. Be careful not to over fill the bags or it can clog the chute. Was expensive, but is very solid and should last for many years.

Bagger not built for longevity.

After 2 years the cheap plastic latch on the bagger is broken and now I need to use a bungee cord to keep it closed when mowing.
Rotten and cheap design. Doesn’t appear you can get parts for it either.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Terrible bagger

The worst bagger I’ve ever owned. Who ever designed this never used it. The wing nuts broke in The first 12 months. The brackets are not strong enough to hold the bags and the shoot pulls out of the bagger. Cub cadet had an easy on/off strap. This is a nightmare to unhook and you have to jack up the mower to reach under the deck to unscrew the attachment. do not buy this product!

A: We don't manufacture the compatible bagger with this model anymore, unfortunately. The frame may fit, but it is not likely that the discharge chute will match the opening of the 1999 deck design. Sorry we couldn't be more helpful.

Q: I have a 2011 Craftsman YT 4000 lawn tractor with 42" deck. Model # 944.601261. It was built by Husqvarna. I am looking for a bagger. It looks like the rear bracket will fit however I was wondering if the chute will fit.
