Waterproof. It is breathable. No sweating when I wore it. Not silent, so need to be very careful when moving around if there is game in the surroundings. Great value

Seems to be a very good rain jacket. It's comfortable and kept me dry, as it should. It has two breathing vents under the arms, which helps keep you a little cooler when tromping through the woods. As to "oversize", I was able to layer up under it and still feel comfortable.

Q: Are there pockets for your hands? In the picture, I can see only one zippered pocket up on the chest. The ad says it has two pockets? Are there any pockets inside the coat? Exactly how many pockets? I just ordered one. :o)

A: There are two zippered pockets where most are located, and the one chest zippered pocket, and a nifty little pocket on one of the sleeves too! However,, NO inside pockets! :o)

Q: The material is 100% Polyester ( so it says ), and it has a "polyurethane coating"? Does the polyurethane gradually wear off? ( Thereby rendering it non - waterproof? ) Do I need to keep reaplying a waterproof treatment? Or is it permanently waterproof?

A: There are 2 layers of waterproofing protection on this jacket – there is a TPU membrane permanently laminated onto the bottom side of the fabric (permanently waterproof) and the second is a Durable Water-repellant coating applied to the top of fabric (this will come off after approx. 5 washes).
