The Huntshield Heat-A-Seat Hot Seat is insulated with premium InsulSoft, a closed-cell foam blend that’s warm, soft and durable. The Heat-A-Seat uses no chemicals or batteries; it simply retains and reflects your body heat back to you. The hot seat is perfect to bring along on any excursion that requires added heat and comfort. The thermaseat also serves as an added layer of protection between you and the ground, rock, stand or whatever it may be that you are sitting on.

Q: Would this work in a sit in kayak? Anyone tried it for that purpose?

A: I haven’t tried it in a kayak. I’d be concerned about how comfortable it would be if it got wet as I haven’t tried it in those conditions. But, maybe if you put a plastic cover over it that would work? Help keep the bum warm in the kayak!

Q: I see its water resistant. How does it hold up to laying on a snow covered surface then kneeling/sitting on it. Will It ruin it? Absorb water? Freeze into The ground? (Haha)
