Deceptive

The advertisment for this product clearly shows speed on the screen, which is why I bought it. Come to find out that if i want to show speed on the unit, I need to buy additional products. Clearly deceptive advertising. Highly disappointed.

not happy fathers day

got a helix 5 for fathers day. opened box to read instructions.. noticed there was no power wire in box. unit does not work without power lead. happy fathers day!

This unit is the best one to plug into a Minn Kota trolling motor with a built in transducer.
No frills,very easy to use for the average fisherman.

Erratic depth, no speed

Box shows speed reading, and this has never read speed. The depth constantly fluctuates to inaccurate readings (i.e. 900-1100ft in a lake no deeper than 120ft).
Tried every fix offered, nothing works. Would feel bad selling it so likely will just throw out

A: Thank you for the question! The transducer that comes with the HELIX 5 SONAR G2 (XNT 9 20 T) is intended to mount on the transom. There are Thru-hull options available. The XTH 9 20, XTH 9 20 P, and XFM 9 20 are all thru-hull transducers that will work with your HELIX 5 SONAR G2.

A: The Helix 5 Sonar G2 (410190-1) unit comes complete with a unit gimbal mount, power cable, 20ft Transom Transducer with built in temp.
