Works terribly, bought for son's birthday and was a total waste of $70. The cars don't stay on the track at all and the Mario that came with it broke the head off within ten attempts around the track. Piece of junk

Absolute trash won’t stay together and needs to be adjusted after every run. Car will make it around the track 1/10 times after you hammer on the button as hard as you can without breaking it. Hot wheels should be ashamed to release this garbage

Don’t buy - you’ll regret it

Not worth buying - This is a disappointing toy! To get the car all the way around the track requires just the right amount of force — too little, it doesn’t go, too much, it flys off
What kid can get this right - disappointed with hot wheels on this one. And I can’t return it because I bought it for my kids bday.

Save yourself time - purchase a different track !

We were not impressed at all with this race track as it requires 2 cars to race on the double track however, only includes 1 car - Mario Kart .
Happy I didn’t rush out to purchase more cars for this as the track itself is made from flimsy plastic and half the time the car didn’t even make it around the full track. I guess I should’ve done more research before purchasing but I was sold on the Mattel /Hot wheels name which usually means a quality toy. I am returning this one for sure ! Save yourself a trip back to the store and shop for a different track if that’s what you have your heart set on ! Sorry - Mattel /Hotwheels but this one is a BIG fail !

Q: Does the car get launched everytime it goes around the track or do you have to keep hitting the mushroom? Ex, when the cars makes its first way around to the launch area, does it automatically get launched or you have to try and time it to keep it going?

A: You have to launch the car for each lap of the track. I mean, it's easy enough and it adds to the strategy of keeping your timing and weight of the hand smash on the lever. Kids like it enough. It only comes with one vehicle (mario in his white car) just to let you know, so you don't suffer any disappointment when the kids want to race their favorite characters around the track after it's assembled.

Q: The description says this comes with 2 karts but the reviews all say it only came with 1. Which is correct?

A: comes with 1 car.. and the box doesn't say exactly which type of HW car can be added. Very disappointing when it is suppose to be a racing set. Would someone at the company please answer which size car would work so addn'l cars can at least be purchased? reviews say that some HW cars will work. what does that mean. Please answer
