great treadmill

Was able to check this treadmill in the store then order it online. It was on sale for 1099 from 1799. I am very happy with it so far. I have had it for a month. If you are looking to do interval training the knobs to quick adjust the speed and incline are a really nice feature. Set up was very easy. The track is a good width and it feels quite stable. I was mostly looking for a unit that I could walk at an incline and this seems like its going to be great.

Great product, bad service at Ancaster CT

The treadmill itself is great. Easy set up, works great, though the programs should have a resume feature. The experience with Canadian Tire when picking it up is a diiferent story. There were four machines in stock at the Ancaster location so I ordered online for same day pick-up. When I went to pick it up, the one they brought out had a broken and ripped box on one corner. I asked why they selected one with a broken box. They advised it was the only one there. I checked online and it still showed 4 in stock. I looked inisde the torn corner of the box to find the treadmill base had been shattered and severely damaged, clearly from the forklift fork. Now this is a 200 lb machine, not easy to take back and forth. I told them to go get me another one without a broken machine inside the box. I can't believe they tried to pawn off a broken machine. What's worse is that they treated me like I was being picky when I wanted an undamaged treadmill because they didn't want to have to go through the trouble of getting me a different machine. Shame on you Ancaster CT. I will never set foot in your location again.

Broken

We bought this 11 months ago and it’s been broken 4 times. Two motherboards, 3 motors later and it’s still not working. The manufacturer has yet to refund, replace or fix the treadmill. Canadian Tire wiped their hands clean of anything basically the moment we brought it. We haven’t been able to use the treadmill 3 of the 11 months waiting for it to be fixed. It is currently broken again while we wait to see what is happening.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Not very good

Not a good product. Have owned since March and it won’t work now. I have followed all maintenance procedures and still will not work. Motor is likely dead. Owned a Nordic track one prior and it lasted much longer. Should have paid the extra money and bought another Nordic track.
No, I do not recommend this product.

A: Hello and thank you for checking. This treadmill can be fully assembled by the customer. It comes with the appropriate tools and instructions. Some customers prefer to have it professionally assembled due to the weight of the treadmill or just a lack of desire to do the assembly portion. If you can use basic hand tools, have a helper and second person to assist we find many customers are able to complete on their own. Thank you for considering Horizon.
