Don’t Buy – Disappointing Quality and Support (Hoover ONEPWR Blade Pet Cordless BH53320)

I really wanted to like this vacuum, but the experience has been frustrating. The brush roll (the spinning roller under the head) broke after just a few months of regular use. The plastic hub inside melted and jammed, so the vacuum basically became useless.
When I reached out to Hoover for a replacement, I was told the part was out of stock and it would take two months to get it. That’s way too long to be without a working vacuum, especially for something that failed so easily.
Customer service wasn’t much help either, and from what I’ve seen online, I’m not the only one dealing with this issue. For the price, I expected way better reliability and support.
Save yourself the trouble and skip the Hoover ONEPWR Blade Pet Cordless (BH53320).
No, I do not recommend this product.

I got this vacuum for a great deal thank god. Had it for one month. Then the bar stopped spinning. Took it apart to find the wheel that attaches to the belt to spin the bar was completely worn down. No wonder it smelt like burning! Our house is mainly hardwood so we were only really giving the bar a bit of work when vacuuming the carpeted stairs. I filed a warranty claim with Hoover which was the longest process ever. Thankfully, they did send us a new vacuum and an upgrade at that but it’s been about two months and that one has broken as well. (Electrical issue this time - I will be leaving a review for that one next). Bottom line - this vacuum would be great for someone with a small apartment and zero carpet or furniture they’d like to keep clean.
No, I do not recommend this product.

DO NOT BUY! Worst vacuum ever.

We bought this vacuum in November 2022 (it’s now September 2023 - so less than a year ago) and the first few weeks was great! We loved it! Great power and the batteries actually lasted. Decently lightweight and convenient…but then BOTH batteries STOPPED CHARGING and after a quick Google search it seems this is a known issue, so we contacted Hoover and they said they would sent us replacement batteries. Well, this whole process took about 2 months and in the end they only sent us one battery even though we sent two in. But at least the new battery worked! Then, in the last few months, the vacuum has just totally lost suction. It picks things up but as soon as you turn it off everything falls back out! It’s incredibly frustrating. We’ve thoroughly followed the instructions and taken it apart to empty it and clean it out several times. But still, just leaves dirt piles that you just vacuumed everywhere. Please save yourself hundreds of dollars and a persistant headache and DO NOT BUY THIS VACUUM.

Missing part

The vacuum itself is great, it has light that makes u actually see how dirty the area is, but it came with a missing part, i beleive its one of returns but when they put it back in the shelf, they didnt even check if all the parts are in there, i called the store to ship me the missing part but they want me to return the whole thing and it was so much of a hassle

A: I can usually do all the carpets in my house and the second story with wall to wall carpet with battery to spare. If you have the extra suction on that kills the battery faster, but it is often not needed.
