Powerhead brush stopped spinning after 18 months domestic use. Plastic belt drive teeth are stripped.

Wears out too quickly

Vacuum was great for about a year, then started to act up, make noise and eventually stopped working altogether. Hoover customer service was non-existent and impossible to reach, making the 'warranty' useless. Seemed a great deal on sale at $199, but still not worth it.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: I have a Hoover ONEPWR Blade Jumpstart 4Ah Cordless Stick Vacuum Cleaner #043-7084-6. The bottom part when it goes on the rug it struggles to spin and makes a loud noise, when I go on the wood floors, it stops making noise. What is wrong?

Q: When selecting the "carpet" button to use this vacuum on the rug in living room, the vacuum shuts off as soon as we push it on the rug. Is there something more we should be doing to prevent it from turning off?
