It is convenient and powerful. I cannot give it a 5 star because it does not work without the brush roll on. When the brush roll is switched off there is no suction so I fail to understand its purpose.

Just got it out of the box and the rotating brush doesn't work. Tried everything, the button that's supposed to turn it on does nothing.

Not for super fluffy pets

I have a very fluffy dog who sheds A LOT. I have to dump the canister every 3 minutes. The stair piece that says is for pet hair absolutely does not work , and it's SUPER loud on hard wood floors (the wheels)
But , the suction is amazing and I love the fact that it will start to suck the tumbleweeds of hair to it and not blow it all away !

A: Hey JEDL! Thank you for your interest in our Hoover® Air™ Lift Light Vacuum. The Above Floor cleaning hose is a deluxe stretch clear hose. The length of the hose is 4ft - stretched. This can vacuum alongside baseboards, however it does not have Edge Cleaning as a specific feature. For the extension wand length is 21". Q: How is this Air Lift Light (UH72540CDI) vacuum different from the WindTunnel Air Steerable Upright (UH72409CDI)? Also what's the amps on Air Lift?

A: Hi Alex! The Air Lift Light, UH72540, comes with an 11 amp motor and its main feature is the lift-able canister/motor to make the unit portable and handheld. The Air Steerable, UH72409, also comes with the same 11 amp motor, but does not share the lift-able feature. Hope this helps! -Michael, Hoover Customer Care
