Frustrating experience

Purchased this doorbell at Cdn Tire today. Arrived home and opened the package and discovered that the box was empty. It was a plastuc wrapped and sealed case. Returned it and was advised that it was a display case box. They gave me a repalcement and sent me on my way. When I opened the box the doorbell receiver and instruction book were there but no push button. Upon reading the specs "on line I am notified that the push button is not an included item. Why wouldn't the box or the clerks at the store advise the consumer of this very important issue??? Poor training and very poor service. Now I must travel back to the store a second time . This is what you get when you try to support stores in the community.

This doorbell is amazing. Easy to install and way better than what I had. You can set different colors, sounds and loudness. Really am enjoying this. I had mine wired directly in.

Q: I have a Geeni Doorbell Cam - that cannot trigger the mechanical chime. This is going to replace that mechanical chime. I have looked at the wiring diagrams and I do not want to use batteries at all. How do I wire this up to use the transformer ONLY!!

A: @Resideo Team - the reason I bought this item is because it is both Wired and Battery powered. Thank you for your reply Alex and Gary - I was able to figure it out myself by looking at the wiring diagram for the Geeni Doorbell and the Honeywell Chime. I connected the RED wire to A1 and a BLACK wire to AC1, joined the two WHITE wires and added one more WHITE from that join and connected it to AC2. Then connected the Geeni Doorbell Cam adapter/remote to A1 and AC1. Essentially feeding power to both the Doorbell Cam and the Chime. The door bell works wonderfully. This is very similar to the Nest, but not as clean and simple. It was just as Alex said. See Wiring Diagram -> https://gofile.io/d/Qooget

Q: Can i wire the receiver and use the doorbell wirelessly? we have power for the receiver but none for the doorbells

A: Yes. The receiver (chime) accepts a standard doorbell transformer. The door buttons need to be non-iluminated if wired or use the proprietary wireless buttons.

A: I'm going to answer my own question here, as a reference for others who might have the same question. YES, this wired doorbell can be used with Nest Hello. You can use a 16-volt AC transformer to power both. Wiring instructions are here: https://support.google.com/googlenest/thread/10650652?hl=en. Very happy with this setup.

Q: Honeywell video on youtube for the RDWL917AX shows you can upload customs chimes via the USB port, but it does not seem to work on the RDWL915W? Is that function only available on the RDWL917AX?
