This is amazing! I purchased this about 2 years ago and love it. The sounds are soothing, it's compact for travel and holds its charge for weeks! No regrets. Money well spent.

Portable sound for home and travel

I am enjoying this little machine very much. The only downside is the position rotator can be a bit hard to turn, if want to try a different setting. The relaxing sound gives me something to put my wandering mind on and lulls me off nicely. I'm looking forward to traveling with it soon.

Solid device for relaxing background sound

I received this as a gift, and after owning it for many years I feel compelled to write a review! Pros of the device: -Hold a charge for a very, very long time. -Reasonably loud (if you want it to be loud). -Physical buttons make it easy to change settings in the dark -A physical wheel allows you to select sound easily in the dark, and selected sound is lit, making it easy to identify which one is selected even in dark. -Timer allows you to turn off the device automatically. -Sounds available are all pretty good, and I really don't notice when they loop--perhaps the recordings/loops are super long? Whatever it is it never becomes distracting, because I never notice loops. It's a great option if you like to listen to thunderstorm or ocean sounds at night, and very intuitive to use. Could be better: -Would be cool to see a way to use your own sound--for example, by connecting an SD card. Really this is just about the only way I think this device could be improved. It is just about flawless for its intended purpose.

We got this a week or so ago and love it! It does a nice job masking sporadic traffic noise. I have slept more soundly since we got it.
