There's better about there.

The chair is nice, but the massage is not. Is someone who owned a previous Homedics chair for almost 5 years.. I can say this chair is a joke. The massage is not even close to the way it used to be on a shiatsu chair. There are no neck or lower abdomen part rollers. Not worth the money, in my opinion.

Great massage chair

We really like this chair. It’s very comfortable. You can get a more intense massage by taking off the removable cover. It was easy to put together. I did it by myself but would’ve been better if I had someone help with the final step. If I could make it better, I would have the massage reach further down the lower back area. To combat this, I use a thick pillow on the seat to prop me up higher. I’m 5’4” for reference. This doesn’t have extra massage options as most of their portable seat massagers have but, overall, it has what is most needed-spot massage and heat.

Broke!!

I received this chair and set it up this afternoon. After about twenty minutes of use, the piece that connected the back cushion to the seat cushion completely broke and the person in it fell through. Not a single one of us that used it is over the weight limit, not even remotely close. It is clearly not well made at that juncture. It was nice for twenty whole minutes though.

Good looking, but much room for improvement.

Better looking than most other massage chairs and comfortable just as a regular chair too. Fits in well with any décor. I like the way it lays back a little and rocks a little. Better to put together with two people. Since I didn't get to try it out before buying online, I went with reviews, which after receiving the chair I now believe were overrated due to incentives. I am 5' 5 and I suppose it might work better for a taller person. The low back setting doesn't reach the lumbar area and the high back setting doesn't reach the top of the neck and shoulders where my trouble spots are. It only massages the middle of your back and you can't really feel any heat either. When it reaches my shoulder blades the massage mechanism is a bit too wide so it massages the bony tips of my shoulder blades and uncomfortably so. So I'll use it as a regular chair as it's comfortable without massage, but kind of bummed that I spent so much money on it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This chair is wonderful! It’s bigger then I expected it to be which was pleasing. It was pretty easy to put together, I had no issues with it and it was together in about 20 minutes. The chair is comfortable and leans back a bit so you can fully relax. It comes with different settings of low and high and different focuses on different parts of your back. It has a nice little pocket that holds the chair remote for easy access. The massage feels so nice!
