The Hillman Zinc-Plated Metric Split Lock Washer comes fitted with an offset split to help bite into mating materials, provides locking reinforcement for applications prone to loosening. This round zinc-finished washer fits 5mm diameter screws, making it ideal for preventing vibration- or corrosion-induced loosening where a bolt joins two parts. The lock washer's circular bearing surface and offset ends grip and lock when tightened under a nut.
The Hillman Metric Split Lock Washer provides a circular bearing surface with offset split ends which help bite into the mating material to provide a locking feature when tightened beneath a nut
