Hillman's square drive self-drilling trim screws make attaching baseboards, casework and trim a breeze. The extra small head countersinks for a neat, finished look while the self-drilling design means no pilot holes needed. Simply start driving the screw and it cuts its own threads into drywall, particle board, sheet metal, plywood and some plastics. Available in assorted lengths and widths to suit any trim or molding project, these screws ensure a professional, long-lasting installation.

Surprised at this product.

I have had poor luck recently with larger Hillman screws. The thicker #8 & #10 screws have been stripping out despite pre-drilling softwoods & hardwoods. However, I needed something thin for a trim project. These fit the bill & I never had a chance to try one of the big box stores an hour away. I did pred-rill & the screws worked perfectly. Maybe the 'self-drilling feature helped none of the screws stripped out the head. The job turned out well.
