Purchased with the intention of staining to match our deck and front steps, with a cedar stain. As it's a different type of wood the stain dried differently but looks great. We have an orange front door, so it all transitions very nicely.
The wood feels solid, and the sizing is great for our house number (4 digits) with 5" numbers.
