The zinc finish of this hex lag screw provides adequate protection against corrosion, making it well suited for outdoor projects like decks, fences and playground equipment. Coarse threads grip the wood firmly without splitting, while the hex drive allows for easy installation using a socket or wrench. Use in pre-drilled holes of the recommended size for a lasting connection.
