They're screws, what can i say?

We broke our bed - not what you think. The support bar was fingerjointed wood and the glue dried out. It fell apart. So I reglued it and screwed a reinforcing piece of wood on. Job wel done.

They did a great job. The Robertson head did not strip, the shaft did not break during screwing, and the threads bore effectively into wood. So far they haven’t rusted.

Hillman screws work well most of the time, however what would really encourage sales of their product would be a tip that is the right size for what is in the package, the tips do wear out you know! The sale of more screws should outweigh any cost to Hillman.
