Do not purchase this product, It is being misrepresented like canadian tire and Starfrit. I talk to the company that makes the heritage line and it is a direct rip off from theres. The stainless steel is fine. Although it does stain easily. The handles are a different story altogether poorly. Put together badly manufactured.I'm about to go on my fourth pair of them. Canadian tires should not be representing this product at $219, and it was reduced. That's a lie.It retails for eighty six dollars.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Broke upon first use

I just purchased Heritage The Rock Non-Stick T-Lock Cookware Set w/ Detachable Handles, Stainless Steel, 14-pc a month ago and just recently used them. To say I am dissatisfied is an understatement. One of the two detachable handles broke immediately and the other one is now stuck on one of the pots, which I am afraid to try and force off so it doesn't break like the other one, leaving me with none. I was so happy to invest in a new pot set and I chose this one to complete dissatisfaction.

Q: How trustable is the "non-stick" claim? We plan on using this in our RV and with limited water supply, we need efficient non-stick cookware. Thank you.

A: For this set of cookware there was two types : one with a non stick coating and one made of stainless steel. Because we were planning to use them mostly on gaz stoves, we baught the stainless ones. We used them almost everyday for the past six months in a trip to Mexico and they still look new.

Q: The description says 'non-stick'. Is this because the inside has a non-stick coating or is it because stainless steel is inherently non-stick?
