I had to replace an existing door bell button which no longer worked with a new one. No issues installing the new door bell button. I just had to program the door bell to the main unit.
No, I do not recommend this product.

You need to buy the related chimes. I just wanted to replace this piece but that didn’t work..nothing on packaging indicated that piece went with particular chime.

Works great . Took a little bit of time trying to sync it with an older model . Two way tape doesn't adhere for long

Q: Advertised to work with Heath Zenith Chimes Will this Button work with MY wireless Heath Zenith Chime which has JUMPERS to set Wireless bell Codes. ? Tried another Brand but could NOT get it to work.

A: All Heath/Zenith wireless push buttons will work with all Heath/Zenith wireless chimes so you can use any model made by this company even if it is not the same model or style as your original one. A: Item # 052-1001 is the 150 foot range decorative push button in a plastic nickel finish. It is an upgrade/replacement button for all the Carlon wireless chime systems we carry. It comes with two installed 3 volt lithium batteries.
