Still Has Fleas
a year ago
Still had fleas after a bath with flea shampoo and this stuff. Bedding was washed and put in a dryer. We have no carpet. So I don't know why she still has fleas.

A: Thank you for your question. It is very important to never use a dog product on a cat and vice versa. Products labeled for specific species were tested for safety in use of that species. If you are simply asking about the safety of your cat in the home around your dog that has been treated with Hartz UltraGuard Pro topical treatment, we would recommend keeping the animals apart after the treatment has been applied to the dog until the treatment area is dry. If you’ve already applied the wrong product immediately wash the cat with a mild shampoo or dish washing liquid to remove the product. Monitor your cat/dog for symptoms such as i.e. lethargy or diarrhea. If your cat exhibits these signs, take her to your vet for immediate treatment. A: Thank you for your question. If you have just applied Hartz UltraGuard Pro to your pet's skin, the translocation process of the formula will take about 24 hours as does most topical products. Our products do not carry an expiration date, they are good for 4 to 5 years from the date of manufacture.
