Hartz Ultra Guard Plus Flea and Tick Treatment Collar For Dogs, White

Bought the collars since he was a pup he's 10 now . It's always been a good buy at CT.

This product was easy to use. Simply open the package, give it a little flick, and good to go. I can't really write to tell you how effective it is, as my pet did not encounter fleas, perhaps maybe the collar prevented them? Perhaps, the pet avoided flea contact. I would buy this product again.

I immediately noticed the pleasant smell of the collar and how soft and flexible the collar was. It went on with ease and was simple to put on. The purple color was a nice contrast as well. The cat is leaving it alone and when I pick her up that light scent was very nice and not over powering. I highly recommend the color for comfort, style and I really like that the effectiveness is for 7 months. Before using the collar I had a situation were my other pet who is a dog woke up one morning and couldn't walk and was in pain. As it turned out he had contracted lymes disease from a tick. He is doing better but was on medication for a month and a very expensive hospital visit for him. My decision was to get collars that I can trust and be confident in. That is why Hartz was the choice for me. It lasts 7 months and I don't have to worry about any of my animals for the season. With it being so easy to put on and having it last long is a bonus. They all smell wonderful and you can be at ease knowing they are protected. I love Hartz Ultra Guard for my cats and my dogs! I have received the Hartz ultra guard collar in exchange for my honest opinion. After using it on my cats for awhile I did buy additional ones for my dogs as well. So I have a total of 5 animals protected with Hartz Ultra Guard! THank you Hartz!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a Boston Terrier, and she likes to run and get into anything and everything outside. So far, the collar has worked, and she has had no fleas or ticks. The downside is that the clasp on the collar doesn't work well and continues to come off. I personally did not smell any odor from the collar, but I know others who have experienced something different. Good product overall; it just needs some help with the clasp. On a positive note, the price point is great, the length of time it lasts is also nice, and I really like that it is waterproof. My Boston has been wearing hers for a few weeks now, and she doesn't mind it at all! She is a happy fur baby. I received this product complimentary in exchange for my honest opinion.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised at this collar. I usually don’t use them on my dog because I’ve gotten ones that are harsh. This was not harsh or powdery and didn’t have a strong odor. It hasn’t irritated my poochie and seems to work great! The collar is soft and flexible and can get wet and is still effective. Also, the collar stays on securely.
