There are no two ways about it: these pads DO leak. I'm using them as directed and there's a mess to clean up almost every morning. The big selling point is that they WON't leak. Again, they do. My 40lb dog soaks right thru them onto the hard wood floor. Which means that they DON'T "protect all floor types by blocking leaks." I've even tried doing double pads, one on top of the other. Still leaks clean thru. These might be good as a short term solution but if your dog has incontinence and you need daily protection, I can't recommend using these particular.

Has the product changed?

After reading the reviews, my observation is that six years the reviews were raving, and now they are not! When I first ordered this product. I was pleased with its absorbency and how well it served its purpose. The last few orders have been like a different product. It leaks through the plastic backing and the absorbent layer is not evenly distributed and is not very thick. What has changed? I will not be buying again if it does not change.

WORST QUALITY EVER

I purchased this item for my 6 month old Shih Tuzla and half of the pads had the filling gone making them almost transparent. For the remaining ones that I was able to use, after he urinated me time it wet all the way through had had the floor wet. They are very thin and not all that absorbent. I only gave them a 1 star because of the lavender smell that unfortunately my pet did not care much for and would wait for smell to dissipate before he would use the bathroom. Now I have to use two On top of each other in order for them to work. Total waste of money
