I've installed these in two garages totalling 11 positions. Of those 11 positions, 6 have had to be replaced over the two years. Really really bad lights quality-wise. I was impressed at first but the failure rate is wild.

I wired it up easy enough but when I turned the light on only a couple sections of the LED lights turned on. Returned to the store for money back

These lights are the lowest quality led lights ever manufactured, they are the true definition of “planned obsolescence”. I’ve installed 5 of these fixtures in my garage a few years ago. I’ve replace all of them at least once. A few I’ve exchanged under CT 1 year warranty. Unfortunately after the 1 year you have to go through the manufacture for the “5 year” warranty, Good luck with that! I’ve gotten no where. I reluctantly go buy a new one for the sole reason of ease of a swap
. Low and behold a few months later, Flickering. Complete garbage.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Are these lights capable of operating in temperature ranges from -20 C to -40 C? My garage is not insulated and I plan to use them during the winter.

Q: I want to put 4 of these in my double garage. Each 0ne would be 8 feet apart. Can they be hardwired together (not linkable) so that they will work off the same switch like my old t12 fluorescent ones?

Q: are the green watt 50 w led strip light carry the same warranty as the Noma strip light

A: The box does say 5 year warranty but Canadian Tire will only cover it for a year. I had one die after 3 years and they said I would have to contact the manufacturer and get an authorization number and then they would exchange it. I feel if they sell something that says 5 year warranty on the box, they should honor it without me doing their work for them. CT has been going downhill for some time now and I'll go anywhere else before I go back there.
