Good water heater. Requires numerous extra plumbing parts and adaptors to install. Add $100 for these extras. It is slightly taller than older models.

Q: Can I get a replacement heating element for spacesaver 52708? This is only 5 years old and element is blown. It is worth replacing element or do I need to get a new unit? Strapped for cash.

A: Unfortunatley the vendor does not sell replacement parts for this water heater. However, you can confirm if the warranty is still valid by calling 1-888-479-8324. There is a serial number on the tank and that indicates the age of the unit.

A: We are not sure if we understand the question about outer wall temperature? That isn't a performance spec that we are typically asked. Are you referring to ambient room air temperature for operation?
