Q: Can this be used as an edger?
2 years agoA: Hello Rob649, this string trimmer head does not adjust or rotate so it would not be very easy to edge the grass and it is not attachment capable, so it cannot take an edger attachment either. Q: what is the product number for the replacement spool with line
4 years agoA: Hello metwo - This spool was designed to be rewound, not replaced each time. Pre-wound spools are not available for this model. The method of rewinding the spool is quite simple and straightforward and located inside the owner's manual (page 10). Simply put line of around 15 - 20 ft. at .095 inches in diameter straight through, and equal on both sides. Then push the knob and turn counterclockwise. Keeping approximately 5 inches of cutting out on each side. The weight of the unit is 7.9 lbs. (without the battery). This unit is designed to be rewound using 0.095" or 0.080" trimmer string.
