Quiet, mobile and powerful!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far so good! The pressure is good, the machine is much quieter than a gas model, and it's pretty easy / intuitive to use. It's been awesome so far. I only gave it a 4-star rating because I think two obviously things could improve on the product. 1) There should be the ability to plug it into an extension cord. The max (6AH) battery can only last for ~20min of spray time. 2) The hose connection fittings should all be metal. I do have some concern that this plastic fitting might break.

Worked great for almost a year till it died

Purchased pressure washer December 2022 and have not used very much. Was washing my house today and machine was working great until it suddenly just stopped working. Was using a fully charged battery and tried several times to turn off/on to retry it but machine was completely dead. Disappointed because I love the design and pressure it provided . Definitely should have lasted more than a year with how little I used it.

We are sorry to hear of the experience you are having with this pressure washer. There are a few factors that could cause these reactions such as excess air in the pump or a clogged/faulty nozzle/defective battery. See all troubleshooting options below.
Cleaning Obstructed Nozzles Over time with use, the pressure washer nozzles may collect dust, dirt, and calcium build-up which as a result cause the pressure washer to malfunction while in use. To clean nozzles soak them in a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and warm water for a minimum of 15 minutes. Then proceed to poke your nozzle cleaning tool or paper clip through the end of the nozzle hole to poke out any debris. After you have done this, rinse them with warm water.
Purge Air from Pressure Washer Set up the unit as per usual and ensure you are not using an extension cord. Remove any nozzle that may be connected at the end of the wand. Make sure that you have a green light on the GFCI on the power cord. Turn your garden hose on but leave the pressure washer turned OFF. With the pressure washer turned off, squeeze on the trigger for about 3 minutes – allowing the water to run through the unit at no pressure. In doing so, you are bleeding the unit out of any air that may be stuck in the pump. After 3 minutes, turn the unit on. Reinstall one of your clean nozzles and continue using the unit. At this stage, if the unit shuts off when a nozzle is installed be sure to try all nozzles. A faulty nozzle may cause the unit to shut down.
Additional components to check:
• Ensure a nozzle is connected. Be sure to try all nozzles.
• Ensure that the water source is fully opened and is at least 60 PSI
• Check that there is at least 10' of unrestricted garden hose between the hose connection and the unit, any kinks will prevent the flow of water from going into the unit and prevent proper pressure.
• For best results, use a 1” (25 mm) or 5/8” (16 mm) garden hose.
• Check that the water inlet is not clogged. Disconnect the garden hose, remove the filter and rinse with warm water.
• Ensure the battery pack is fully charged. Charge the battery pack.

Great pressure but quick to deplete battery

I had a Ryobi pressure washer which never really worked. I bought this to replace it and this works really well for cleaning my deck, screened porch, and lawn furniture. I used the direct hose hookup. I’ve not tried the bucket option yet. My main complaint is that the battery lasts about 20 min. Then it’s too hot to charge, so wait 20-30 min for it to cool (support says this is normal), then charge. Luckily it charges quickly. So basically it can take an entire afternoon for 60-90 min of actual cleaning. I only do this 3x per year, so it works for me. I could buy additional batteries but they are quite expensive. Unfortunately my other Greenworks tools take 90 or 24v. My second complaint is that it’s very fatiguing on the hand to squeeze the trigger. I guess it’s a good thing I can only clean 20 min before recharging!

This product has a fairly high power draw and does deplete batteries quickly. This unit may be used with all Greenworks 60V battery models. The higher the ampere-hour (Ah) rating is, the greater the run time.
Approximate run times on high:
4.0 Ah -12 minutes
6.0 Ah -18 minutes
