Would not buy this product

Was given as a gift, brand new, used it once and it was great. The battery will not charge after two charges. It's dead in the water. Will not charge at all. Canadian Tire will not honor or replace the battery.
No, I do not recommend this product.

To do this, simply unplug it for approximately 10 minutes and then plug it back in and try reinserting the battery. To ensure proper contact and secure placement, firmly push the battery into the compartment. You should hear a distinct click or snap, indicating it's properly seated Greenworks 60V battery and charger platform are covered by a four-year warranty from the date of purchase. First tiller purchase

My mom has had 2 gas tillers over her lifetime. Her current machine is a juicy rear tine 4 stroke, it's very heavy. I struggled with finally biting the bullet and buying this electric unit. All I can say is wow, for my garden this machine is mint. I wish my mom had one of these now that she is older, it's super light and starts immediately. Quiet, no fumes. make sure you keep the tines clean and don't use it in conditions beyond design (many rocks, no moisture). My garden is roughly 1/4 acre, needed 1.5 charges to do the whole thing and I had hilled about 4 raised beds at this point and this garden had never been machine worked prior to this. Northern Alberta clay/peat mix.

Very light in weight it will "bounce" on hard pack soil once you have started the engine , when soil is penetrated the tiller will break down the chunks rapidly to about 8-10" deep . Adjust the length of the handles according to your height ( comfort and control ) . The paper instruction pamphlet is poor /incomplete not very instructive - Go online

If the tiller stays and digs in at one spot, try rocking it from side to side in order to start it moving forward again.
In order to dig more deeply, lift up on the handlebar pushing the front harder into the ground. Apply downward pressure on the handlebar, pulling the tiller down towards you for shallower cultivating. Lastly, dry soil is difficult to cultivate, if the soil is very hard, water it a few days before cultivating

A: Hello Farmer1 - Our cultivators are primarily designed to mix loose dirt whilst integrating compost or fertilizer and are not designed to loosen hardened soil, clay or break ground. You can expect up to 40 minutes of run time on fully charged 2.5Ah battery.

Q: On the Greenworks 60v 2.5 tiller, I see in the description it says you can interchange all 60v batteries. I have the 60v 4.0Ah batteries from the greenworks lawnmower, will it work with this tiller or do the batteries need to be 60v 2.5Ah?

A: Hello wilyman, This product is 11 3/4 in wide. The width of the wheels cannot be adjusted. However, the height of the wheels can be. You can control the depth of operation by adjusting the wheel position. Wheels can also be removed for greater tilling depth.
