Foam sealed cracks well

The grey foam sealed the cracks well however the applicator kept coming loose at the can and so foam escaped making a big mess. This wasted time and material.

Q: I plan to use it to fill the gap from either end of the baseboard heater pipe. can it be used for that purpose? Does it release gas if it touches baseboard heat pipe (water) ? what is the maximum temperatureit can handle with out issue?

A: It is not recommended to use this product for this purpose as it is too close to the heat source. The maximum temperature that it should be used around is 116 degrees Celsius (240 degrees Fahrenheit). Cured foam is combustible and will burn if exposed to high heat.

Q: Will this stop mice?

A: It is recommend that you still use steel wool before you spray foam when dealing with mice. The Pestblock formula contains a bittering agent which deters critters from biting through it so can be used to deter mice.
