This is a perfectly plain and commodious garbage bin to temporarily place in a kitchen for use by a festive crowd or by caterers when the usual petite bins just won’t do. You must then line it with a “contractor's garbage bag” ( these are extra thick and extra large ). (You will soon find other uses for these sturdy bags - for example, when donating large items and keeping them clean.)I remembered to buy a yellow garbage tag at Canadian Tire to label the bag for subsequent pickup of the bag on “garbage day” for my house ( I have kept the clean bin indoors for use next time! ).The kitchen staff were very happy with the efficient setup ( they had exclusive use of the kitchen for food prep ) and cleanup was a snap!

Not Great or Durable

Material is cheap and made of brittle plastic. Compared to Rubbermaid its inferior, after a couple of years this one is all duct taped but RM one is holding up. They do not honour the warranty as you need to have proof of purchase (better hold on to the receipt for later).
No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: What’s the height and width of this bin? I need it to store my green compost bin occasionally when the smell escapes the seal. Also, does the lid seal the smell out? Thanks

A: The size is 13 inches at bottom across top 17 inches inside measurements and 23 top to bottom And when kitchen garbage in summertime is in can for 3 days there is no smell until you remove lid Lid snaps on quite tight
