Q: What’s the height and width of this bin? I need it to store my green compost bin occasionally when the smell escapes the seal. Also, does the lid seal the smell out? Thanks

A: The size is 13 inches at bottom across top 17 inches inside measurements and 23 top to bottom And when kitchen garbage in summertime is in can for 3 days there is no smell until you remove lid Lid snaps on quite tight
