Too loud

Next to the 36 inch Gumbo Mudders I had on a truck when I was a teenager, these tires are second loudest tires I’ve ever owned. The faster you go the higher the pitch. A constant drone in the background. I didn’t purchase them, they came on my truck. Glad to be getting rid of them finally. It’s amazing how many are for sale on Marketplace too. Nobody likes them. Lol

No, I do not recommend this product.

There should be no second guessing with these tires. After 122,000km of issue free driving I’m due for a new set. Worry free driving in any weather, would highly recommend.

Yes, I recommend this product.

Good tires...Outstanding Service!

The service team at Westhills Canadian Tire went above and beyond with their work! There was a minor issue during install to which they proactively notified me. They then addressed the issue by going the extra mile... I cannot recommend them enough!

Q: What is the load range for a 275/60R20 tire for my 2014 Ram 1500 Big Horn.

3 Answers
  • A: I know that on my truck there is a sticker on the drivers door frame that lists the tire load range for the stock tires. It’ll be different ona 2014 though so check for that sticker and hopefully it’s there on the truck.  Hope this is helpful.

Q: Are the duratrac 265 65r18 a 10 ply tire?

3 Answers
  • A: I just talked to a Goodyear Agent in America. He stated that the 265/55R17 Tire has 2 Load Ratings: C & E Class. C=8 Ply Rating, E=10 Ply Rating. Too bad CT does not share the LOAD Info (Ply Rating) on their website here. Most important information for Safety!!! I love driving with 10 Ply Wranglers on my Vehicles!!!

Q: did anyone have problems with them scalloping? (wearing uneven)

3 Answers
  • A: Yes, I have! Not due to the tire itself, but due to a hit to the front left of my vehicle! The hit knocked out my wheel alignment, causing this scalloping (uneven wear) of my Front Left Tire. After just having extensive repairs to my left wheel steering components, it was highly recommended that BOTH front tires get replaced ASAP (R/H Tire is in perfect condition, BTW). And this is why I am here at Canadian Tire researching these tires. P.S. My tires are 4 years old, though I do not have record of my mileage, due to inappropriate mileage recording on my warranty paperwork by the competition (0 km entered).

Q: How come the mileage rating on your in-store advertisement says this tire is rated for 80,000 KM and online it's 50,000 KM? Maybe it's supposed to read 50,000 miles?

3 Answers
  • A: Actually Goodyear rates this tire at 60,000 mi / 95,000 km! I just noticed that in an earlier answer I posted 60/80 too! D'Oh! (Fake News!).
