I brough the Globe Smart Wifi outlet plug 3 pack on a black Friday deal. I am not very techy. The plug works best to be set up in a standard plug and not a power bar. However once programed and move into the power bar, it does operate as a smart plug.

A: These are absolute garbage. They were below even basic functions, did not connect properly with anything and constantly dropped out of the network. They ended up in the municipal e-waste.

Q: Why the plugs are on for 1-2 seconds and then they turn off? I have 6 switches and only 2 are working. The other ones are defective in this way.

A: Hi there, thank you for your inquiry! First and foremost please verify in the app if there are any active routines such as vacation mode as this will intermittently turn the device on and off. If no routine is active try moving it closer to your router to see if the issue persists DO NOT use an extension cord to do so as they are no intended to be plugged into anything but the outlet. Q: Can you have 2 of these in one outlet? I read it doesn't block the second but is that just for smaller cords?

A: I bought these based on Globe Electric's response and as the other poster said, it's not true. Two of these plugs cannot fit in one regular outlet - they are too big.

Q: Does the Globe smart plug default to "OFF" (Safety default) when power is lost and restored? I require a smart plug which safeties to "OFF".

A: I use them to remotely control sump pumps and fans at the cottage via WI-FI and LTE and they have never defaulted to "ON" during hydro power fluctuations.

Q: Can the Globe Smart Plugs be used with the "Prime Indoor Smart Outlets" App. I already have 3 Prime units, model CCRCWFII113PK, and the Globe units look identical. Or, must I absolutely download a second app (Globe Suite App) for the Globe plugs??

A: I’m not sure about use with your particular app but I use the Smart Home app instead of the Globe one and they work fine.

Q: For some reason I couldn't get mine to pair with Alexa at all was sayin ya had to change wifi to 2.4gh so returned it of anyone can help with an easy way of setup would buy again

A: Thank you for your inquiry, these units are compatible with Alexa once synced with our Globe Suite app. Please pair your device using 2.4Ghz network and then from the home page tap on profile, and you should see a prompt to sync with Alexa.
