Won't connect via wi-fi

I installed this receptacle in a box with another receptacle and it fit just fine. I downloaded the globe app. to my phone. The problem comes with pairing it to my Android phone. When the button on the receptacle is pushed it changes sequence as indicated in the setup guide. My phone does not recognize the signal and will not connect. I reached out to the company (Globe) via email but no response. I will purchase Leviton next time.

A: I just purchased and installed this outlet today (Jan 30, 2020) and I can tell you that the plugs CANNOT be controlled independently of each other. If there is an instruction guide that explains how to set the outlets individually, it should be included with the product.
