Broke in less than 24 hours

I bought 2 of these and mounted them on plywood Christmas yard characters. The next day the connecting cord on one fell off. See the photo - it was cut right across the width. You couldn't tear the light strip in half if you wanted to, but this one just parted. This stock looks old, from 2021, judging by the packaging. It works with WiFi but only 2.4 MHz so I had some trouble getting the Geeni app to recognize the controllers. The controllers are not marked with their MAC address, which would have been helpful in assigning 2.4 MHz to them. The manual has an FCC notice but not an IC Industry Canada notice so they are not actually legal in Canada.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Work great till they dont

Have had now 3 sets of these lights. Neat features can connect together to make longer. BUT have all quit working within a year or so. And it's always the same the controll box just goes "offline" and can never be rebooted. The light strip itself works great (even when the controll box stops working) if you buy another set uou end up twice as long. Just unfortunate that it keeps happening. No long will I be using this brand for lights

These lights are amazing! Multiple colors and brightness settings so easy to hook up. Connected to my Wi-Fi instant play and the self adhesive strip on the back made it easy to attach for my project. Could not be happier!
