Worth every penny

Full disclosure, I have the previous version of this product. I have had it for about 8 years beside my hot water heater under the stairs in a finished basement. It was quick and easy to setup and the app is super easy to use. The battery lasts a long time, I changed it for the first time last year after I was notified by the app. So far its been pretty uneventful, however minutes after everyone had gone to bed, my water tank began to leak, without the detector it would have only been only the next morning before it was noticed and result in a few thousand dollars damage. Happily moments after the leak began, I received the leak alert on my phone and shut the water supply line saving me the time and money for the repairs.
Just as a side note it it uses a wifi connection so regardless where you are you get the notification.
Yes, I recommend this product.
