Q: Does this have any mold resistant additives?
5 years agoA: Thank you for your question. GE Silicone 1 All Purpose Silicone does not contain biocides. GE Silicone 1 All Purpose is compliant for incidental food contact under FDA 21 CFR177.2600 "Rubber articles intended for repeated use." FYI- mold does not grow on silicone but does grow on organic residues commonly found in wet locations such as soap, food particles, etc..
