Q: When locked will it open from inside? I have one that will currently open from the inside when locked and my German shepherd can open it and get outside.

A: Unless you can block that "ENTER" key from your dog I don't think there is a way. We have two locks on our door. This one and then another deadbolt which can't be undone. Good luck.

Q: Hi! Bought this door lock a few years ago and now for some reason doesn’t relock. It does make the sound of relocking but it does not. I’ve tried resetting the whole thing but still won’t lock. Is there anything else I can try?

Q: Garrison Electronic Lever Model No. 046-7243-2. I cannot get the electronic keypad to lock or unlock the door. The key works fine. Did the factory reset several times. Followed the instructions in the instruction manual. Batteries working.

A: After you key in your combination you have to push the garrison button to unlock the door and to lock it just press the garrison button that is how ours works

Q: How do you get the thing apart out of the packaging? Absolutely stupid packaging. Insert profane adjectives liberally.

A: To get it apart is to look on the cardboard that is on the side and just fallow the directions, I can’t explain it any better and the screws that you have to take out you throw them away and the white piece that is in between. I hope that helped

Q: I’m having trouble finding an electronic door handle to fit my door as the window is very big. Can this be installed with the battery box on the underside on the indoor handle?

A: To answer my own question, yes it can be. The instructions don’t say so, but I bought this handle and installed the interior part upside down and it works perfectly.
