Why discontinued? Good locks.

I had a 50mm version of these on my storage locker. Someone got a cheap padlock set (left the package there) and tried to jam it into my 50mm Garrison lock to break into the locker. It didn't work; the cheap key got jammed and they were unsuccessful. When I went to Cdn Tire to replace the 50mm lock, there were only these 40mm ones left. I feel confident they'll do the trick of keeping my locker safe, but WHY is Canadian Tire no longer going to carry the Garrison locks? They are good.

Je les adore. Je les ai acheté pour les casiers lors des cours de piscine. Avec un cadenas à clé, je suis certaine de ne pas oubliera combinaison. Le seul bémol, j'aurais mis 3 ou 4 clés au lieu de 2. Si j'avais acheté un seul cadenas, il y aurait eu 2 clés...

These replace a set on which someone kept bending the key, and I got these just in time. These keys are no thicker, so I expect to have to replace them in the future. The hasps are not as long as the previous set, but that may be helpful. They seem to work well, although one of them receives the key and it is not smooth.
