Range not as described

I like Gardena products. Owned ZoomMax sprinkler and love it. Hence bought this oscillating sprinkler. Like the connector. But this sprinkler gives me a range of only 5 or 6 meters. No where close to maximum 18meters as described on package. My old ZoomMax still gives about 12 meters. Emailed Gardena customer support. Will see what Gardena customer support says. Wonder if this is a defective batch since many other online reviews complained about the same issue.
