Garbage

Don’t waste your money. Absolute garbage. Wouldn’t fire pellets, yes, they’re the proper size. Sent it back to manufacturer, the one they sent me back, first pellet, stuck midway in the barrel. Not giving them a 3rd try.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Q: Am i allowed to use this to shoot BB's, and shoot my friends with?

4 Answers
  • A: Any gun weather or not it shoots 495 fps or over or under is considered a firearm under the law if it is pointed at another human being in fun or other wise, even non licensed firearms are lethal weapons if pointed at another human, this is why cops shoot people who point cap guns at them, because they can't tell the differences and they don't have the time to find out if the gun is real. It takes a person with a long history of being around firearms to be able to spot real from fake guns.

Q: I see it says 30 lbs effort for cocking this rifle. Anyone have any idea whether a fairly average size/strength 14-year-old girl could handle this?

  • A: Yes, it is very smooth and does not require too much effort. She shouldn't have a problem!

Q: How hard can this rifel hit? For a 495fps air rifel,

2 Answers
  • A: It depends on the pellet you are using. I tried 4 different ones from the cheapest to the most expensive gamo platinum 30% faster pellets. The most ft-lbs I could get was 3.25 from the RWS Power Ball / 9.4gr pellets. At 394fps.the fastest bullet was the gamo with a top fps of 485fps.hope this helps

Q: would this be able to kill rabits and magpies? is is to loud for the back yard target practice?

2 Answers
  • A: Rabbits need at least 5 ft-lbs of energy for a humane kill birds are usually around 2 ft- lb. Of course shot placement is everything. The most I could get out of my gamo varmint was 3.25 ft-lbs using RWS Power Ball / 9.4gr pellets. I use mine all the time and it's not very loud out doors. It might echo a bit if there is structures near. Hope this helps

Q: Does one break of the barrel give full power or do you need to "pump" it a few times?

1 Answer
  • A: A single, full "break" of the barrel all the way down, will compress the spring or gas ram completely and store all the kinetic energy of that action and it will store that energy in the compressed spring or gas ram and you will have converted your muscle energy into potential energy stored in the spring or gas ram. When you swing the barrel back up and into place you will release that energy by pulling the trigger which releases a piston which will compress air behind the pellet until it overcomes the friction of the pellet in the breech and 'sends it!' ***always assume your weapon is loaded and will unexpectedly fire even with your finger off the trigger ***always point in the safest direction ***never touch the trigger until you are pointing at the intended target ***if you use the safety, always assume that disengaging the safety will unexpectedly fire the weapon... therefore have the weapon pointing at your target or in the safest direction while disengaging the safety
