Frank unfortunately did not spin me right round

I really wanted to love this mop as I've had success with Frank products in the past. Unfortunately, this one wasn't a win. The mop needs to be locked to mop and then unlocked to spin. The head gets stuck in an angled position and you have to manually adjust it back to flat. The dual-bin design isn't particularly useful-your clean water ends up dirty anyway once you dip the mop back into the "clean" side. The drain plug on the bottom also doesn't stay secure; mine came loose and nearly flooded my top floor. Plus, the spin-dry cage can't be removed, so the bucket takes forever to dry after use. My recommendation: spend a little more and go with a Vileda instead.

Q: How can I remove the white fibre mop head for cleaning? Can it be put in the washing machine?

A: You remove it by putting your fingers into the centre of the mop as far towards the edge of the mop head and pulling down. The mop head is a friction fit. If you need help, a thin screwdriver put between the mop head and the mop. The mop head can be washed in the washer. I let it air dry.

Q: I got 2 additional mop heads for the Franks spin mop and bucket when I purchased the spin mop . Just tried to put one of the new ones onto the mop and they are too small to fit the mop. How do we know which ones will fit the mop?

A: Hi Shawna, For Spin Mop 142-3123, we provided a separate Refill SKU#142-9422, but in the stores there still could be a Refill from an ex-vendor under other SKU number in selling, which is a little smaller than our version and could not fit for our Spin Mop. Thank you.

Q: I've had my Franks mop (grey) for 1.5 years and lost receipt. Unfortunately my mop handle had something snap inside and now it doesn't spin. What are my options to move forward? Can I buy a new mop handle only ? I don't want to waste the dual bucket.

A: Jude, To install the mop head, align the base of the handle with the replacement head and firmly press down to snap it into place. To remove the mop head. Secure the base of them mop head and pull up on the handle.

Q: Can the white ringer portion be removed from the bucket so that the bucket can be thoroughly cleaned? I have tried taking it apart but am afraid to break it.

A: The white ring can be removed by pulling it off. The basket will remain attached in the bucket.
